If you ever come to the DC Metro area, I highly recommend visiting the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, in Dulles, Virginia. It’s part of the National Air and Space Museum. This past Saturday I finally took the family there, after having lived in this area for over a year. Needless to say, both my camera and I had a blast. I got to see my most favorite plane, the SR-71, aka Blackbird in person. It was a breath taking experience seeing some of the finest human engineering.
Below you’ll find some of photos I took from the trip. You can see all the photos from my Flickr set. Enjoy.

also feel free to contact me on twitter or via emailGreat Photos! Planning to visit sometime in the spring 2009.
Nice Photographs. When exactly did they acquire a Gundam? And w hy can’t we win the war in Iraq if we have GUndams on our side?
Perhaps we’re using them the wrong way?

What is in that 2nd to last photo? Is that a gundam?!
@Ananya, you should! I like it a lot better than the one inside of DC. This place is literally a giant hanger. It’s very airy ‘n open, not crowded.
@Jason, lol! Poor GP03…
@Bryan, why yes? How did it get in there..
Wow, look s great. I’ll check your photos on flickr
[...] Jin has an awesome photoset on 8164.org from the National Air and Space Museum in the United States – using a Nikon D90 – that is mouth watering. I’m not sure if it’s the little boy in me that is more pleased with the hardware or the sheer quality of the photoset itself. Very nice work. [...]
Is that the actual Gundam they used to fight off the Martian invasion in ’73? Or is it just a replica?
